so being a certified pc tech automagically makes you a good modchip installer? heh.. i'm in the austin area, and i'm actually looking for a modchip reseller in the area.. haven't had much luck.

It's hard to find local resellers. I don't sell chips either. Have you tried any of the advertisers here on Xbox Scene?

By the way, I visit Austin at least one weekend a month. PM me if you would like me to do an install on one of my trips there.

I guess being a PC tech makes me qualified to work on PCs. :-) Xboxes ain't too different.

okay um.

im new to the whole modding the xbox scene.

i'd like this.

x2 lite chip, 120 gig HD, and wutever dashboard is easy to use and reliable or wutever.

i will NOT use xbox LIVE. and will prolly never network my xbox.

i just wanna back up games to HD and run em off of that, and maybe later on. do other things. but thats it.

btw. i dont have a SAMSUNG dvd player(i checked) and i've yet to see wut version xbox i have....
