I want to do everything only once, since I'm taking out my MOBO I figured I buy a pin header from llamma and solder it in with the board out, should I get a 16 pin header or 12 pin? I have no idea what modchip I'll get (or even if I will get one) I just want to be ready in case I do(which I probably will) I plan on soldering a wire to the D0 from underneath too while I'm in there and just leaving it taped up for now.

Dude, all you need is a 12 pin header.
