Ok, I got it working 1 time, but now I can't get it working again!! Somebody help please. I have the correct cable a crossover/patch cable. When I go into my XBOX System Utils menue I have these settings:
Setup Network: Yes
Use Static IP: Yes
IP: 192.168.100.10
SubnetMask: 255.255.255.0
Default Gateway: 192.168.100.1
DNS 0.0.0.0
DNS 0.0.0.0
Ok, In my network interface card TCP/IP options I have it set like this:
IP Address: 192.168.02
Subnet mask: 255.255.255.0
Default Gateway 192.168.0.1
The "Use the following DNS server address" box is checked but the info is blank where I am supposed to fill in the address.
something is wrong here right?? Please somebody help me correct this so I can get connected thanks alot!

Change your computers IP to:
IP Address: 192.168.100.02
Subnet mask: 255.255.255.0
Default Gateway 192.168.100.1
That should do the trick...

and also confirm you have a CROSSOVER cable, NOT a patch cable! [Which if it has worked in the past and you're using the SAME EXACT cable it should

the cable I have said Crossover cable on the pkg, and it also said Patch cable on the package.
OK last question .. what address do I put in FLASHXP program to connect to the XBOX??
u shud put the XBOX IP ADDRESS obtained from your dashborad (evo x, etc...)
USER NAME- xbox
PASSWORD- xbox
make sure you have no firewalls up etc... that caused me a problem teh 1st tiem

ahh, ur default gateway doesnt seem to be matching....
the default gateway for the xbox shud be ur PC's network card IP address, well atleast mine is...
