It's possible on gamecube, that's why I asked in the first place, so why would it not be possible on xbox?!

look at HOW it is possible on gamecube.. the games skip to all fucking hell, they lag, many don't work at all, the loading times are increased, saving doesn't work properly on some, etc etc etc.. there's absolutely NO reason not to get a bigger HD or dvd burner instead. especially with dvd burners costing less than 100 bucks.
