Ok. I just got my modchip, executer 2.3+ lite, to work. I was using the newbie faq, but my question is, do I put the new 40 gig hard drive in now? I have nothing on it. Thanks

go ahead and put it in with the xbox turned off, then boot with slayer's evox installer in your dvd drive and let that load up and select format new large hard drive

Backup the contents of your C and E from your original HD (via FTP to your PC) first, so you can transfer your savegames etc back to your new HD once installed.
