use a hot glue gun

Yeah don't use superglue specialy if you got your jewel nice and clear it screws it up. Use a hot glue gone, thats what i do for my installs.

i used silicone sealant. looks very good and can be removed if ever need be, while still insanely solid.

Whatever you use make sure that it dries clear... my friend used some model glue he had lying around and it wound up being kinda yellowish. Not terribly attractive with the lights on, but when the room is dark and the jewel is lit you can't tell.

i always use superglue and it can work well in very small amounts with a very thin lip holding the jewel up.
