I've had one of these for about 2 months. No probs at all. I did however upgrade to version (1.0d). Burns DVD (+-) R and RW. Also burns CD and CD RW. Good for game backup and storage.

I've had mine for a month now and made a coaster or two. Upgraded the firmware and no problems whatsoever. Software it comes with isn't that great so the oem version of this would be an even better deal. I like it much better than my old hp300i. Been able to burn dvd's for my pickyass dvd player and backup with no problem even with cheapo media.
