So I had a solderless chameleon and was putting in a new hard drive. Evox wouldn't load. I took out the chip and turned on the box to see if it would boot. It turned on and said error. I plugged the chip back in and turned it on and then the chip started smoking and so I said crap. And turned it off. The chip was burnt/fried of course. I know have a matrix and want to know if I can rechip it or do I need to TSOP it??? If I can rechip it do I just do a basic install or do I have to find/ be provided by you glorious members, a special 'now your xbox is fragged" tut. Any help would be great. It has significantly reduced my amount of playing time. Which is probably better because Ochem is a bitch and needs lots of studying/ remembering of rxns. help would be great thx in advance
