Hey, y'all.

So i got my mod yesterday, sat down, installed the thing and then found [i think] all the *cough software cough* needed to finish the deal.

HOWEVER

I get to the Cromwell screen, the whole "Flash in progress" bit and it does its little spiel. The bar goes yellow, the bar goes green, the bar goes away and the xbox turns off.

But then when i go to start the machine up again, it wants to Flash it again. I've done this twenty times.

Also, when i turn the machine on from "Bank 1" I get the normal xbox loading thing. I've read [i think] just about every readme out there and honestly can't find the answers. I've been at this since 4pm yesterday.

I really don't know what I'm doing wrong. Please, any help would be greatly appreciated...

Ok If Your Mod Is On And You Get The Normal Ms™ Dash That Means That You Are To Put The EvoX Boot Disc In There.

what size did you flash it with?

i flashed it with a 512k, as i'd read in the tuts. but i can only flash Bank 2 [or am i only SUPPOSED to flash bank 2 and then flip it over to bank 1?]

y'see, i'm not sure if the thing has been flashed "properly" because it keeps wanting to be flashed everytime i start the thing up from "bank 2"

so after you flash it.. it reboots and then it wants you to flash again? or do you c the MS screen?

nope, jump to bank one and stuff the evox boot disk in.
if bank is set to 2 when flashing, you`re flashing bank 1, and when booting from bank one you end up in msdash, ready to load any disk( install evox if you like).
note! this is with a 512 bios.....

If i leave it on Bank 2 and rebbot, it wants to flash again.

If i set the switch to Bank 1 and reboot, i get the MS loadup screen
