Hi.
I have flashed my xbox and deleted all saved games from the harddrive.
I am running evox and have only 2 apps installed, dvd2xbox and dvd2player (or something like that...)

I have only 4.1 gig left to use, is this normal??
Just wondering if there are files on the xbox which can be deleted so I can at least dump the rugby league game which is over 4gig.
thanks.

Yes this is normal. You're still using the stock HDD which is 8 GB, and 4 GB of it is taken up by the caches and the C drive. the other 4 GB is for your E drive. I recommend getting a bigger HDD.

yes, this is normal, it is due to the way the xbox hdd is partitioned, you cannot put any games on the stock hdd, you can put things like emulators, xbmp (or xbmc), ect.
Trevante
You can put games on the stock HDD, just not many big ones.

Not exactly.

Nearly 5GB is set aside for the E drive, about 750MB on each cache drive (X,Y,Z) with the remainder few hundred MBs (around 400) on the C drive... give or take a few...

So I can run programs on the xy and z partitions? as long as they are less then 750mbs?
Thanks for your replies guys, appreciate that.
Trevante
Yes, you could run stuff off the X,Y and Z drives, but I wouldn't recommend it. The X,Y, and Z drives are cache drives and they will automatically get cleared when you play 3 different games so your programs and whatever other files may get cleared off that drive if you're not careful. Honestly, it's really worth it to upgrade your HDD.

I have had up to 3 games on the hard drive with many applications and emulators. Then I unlocked the extra 2 gigabytes, then I could fit even more.
