If I have Xecutor 4977 or later I heard that while installing to HD it will automatically patch for you, so does that mean I do not need DVD2XBOX? I don't know what that is. As for specific game patches, how do u know where to put them when u find em?

You can still patch it, just doesn't *require* it.

As far as dvd2xbox, you still need it. How else are you going to copy the discs to your hdd? (Believe me, this is the best app for the job).

You can turn off patching if you don't want it to do it any longer...

depends on th kind of patch... if its a PPF you need to do it on your PC with PPF-o-matic. If its an ACL you can put it in the patches folder of DVD2Xbox and patch it from that program (press B, highlight the XBE and press the left trigger, choose patch, find the patch, and you good).
