I'm reflashing my 2.3b lite chip with the programmer and am getting some errors. Does anybody know which version of Cromwell the chip comes with originally?

2.28 what XBox do you have what bios did you try and what error do you get/.

I have a v1.5 xbox.
I've tried these filenames:(Cromwell) flashbios 2.27
image 1024
another one too (i forgot and its deleted)

everytime i flash it dos says its ok and then when i enable my chip i get the 3x/red flash frag on both banks.

is there something i need to do to the .bin file like use xecuter2bios manager or give it a specific filename?

also am I maybe supposed to have the external switch hooked up when I flash?
how does it know which bank to load the bios on?

also, can i straight flash evox bios to my chip using the programmer without having to flash it with a legal bios first? If not can I do it once I get Cromwell back on there or do i have to use the boot disc?

I went ahead and tried to flash evox The EVOX_M7 (x4) and it came up to msdashboard with the chip enabled or disabled...?

Just thought I'd post and let everyone know I got it working using the xecuter2 bios.
