I tried to fool with the no-chip exploit, the one where you solder and hot swap. Anyways the HDD_Drive gave me loads of errors about filename sizes, and then it crashes. I tried to change FATX to “….” and do that trick, without success.

Now here comes my problem:

1. I lost my original backup and I only have the one where the lines are “.…”, I am not sure where to exactly put FATX back?

Can someone just check their backup for these offsets:
0x00080000
0x2ee80000
0x5dc80000
0x8ca80000
0xabe80000

I need the exact position where FATX starts.

2. Can I build a new image using some software with a new dashboard and restore it to the drive?
(HDD_Driver only works as backup and retore)

3. Is there a FATX explorer which I can use to modify the image once fixed?
