CheULT
Mar 30 2004, 10:58 PM

cueball13
Mar 30 2004, 11:06 PM

Mar 30 2004, 11:20 PM
So you're telling me that it's just a usb port and a wire that just ends? Have you already received this, or is it a picture you're looking at?
If it's just wires on the end, then, first off, they sent you a really cheap product, and secondly, you just have to wire it up to the matching wires of a controller port inside.
CheULT
Mar 30 2004, 11:22 PM
There are no wires, it looks like a small slot thing, like the one on a gfx card
cueball13
Mar 30 2004, 11:37 PM
Hahaha, it sounds like they sent you a pc usb card. So it's on a pci card? That's funny. Take a picture so we can be sure. But it sounds like they sent you some surplus usb cards just for the ports. You can still use them, you just have to disconnect the ports and wire them up to the xbox. Need a pic to make sure and explain what to do, though, as there are several different kinds.

http://secure.llamma.com/catalog/product_i...&products_id=81or this:
http://www.keyspan.com/products/usb/u2pci5/or maybe something different?

IF its the first just plug it into the short cord that goes from the xbox to the long cord on the controller

cueball13
Mar 31 2004, 07:03 PM

ok, take the male end of your breakaway cable, now imagine it w/o the metal ground piece around it, that's what he got. So it looks like a plug with 3 metal plates on one side and 2 on the other...
