When running falshfxp and ftping to evox on my xbox with a game in my xbox dvd drive, the D drive on the xbox doesn't show the contents of the game. It just shows and exact copy of what is on the C drive.

so when u access the d drive from flashfxp, the contents that are shown are your c drive on your xbox?
try another ftp prog or check all the drives that show up in flashfxp and see if one of them resembles the files on the xbox game.

Lots of info there. Basically you might want to try flashing a different bios or don't use xselect if you do.
