ok, i have a few newer xboxs i need to mod by flashing the tsop, i already screwed two boards, one was my own stupidity, but the other i flashed wrong, from what im told i used the worng bios. now to prevent future mistakes, what bios do i need to use for v1.2, v1.3, v1.4, v1.5?

the best bios to use is a x2 4981.xx bios. And it HAS TO BE a 256k bios for all versions 1.2 and above.

yeah.....for V1.0/1.1 use a 512 K bios X2 4981 MULTI if your adding a swith, if not flash with a 1 MB

with V1.2 + use 256 k bios

i only use a 256k bios and let raincoat .7 enlarge it to a 1mb if the xbox is a v1/1.1

i tried using a 256 before and it screwed up, would this have happened if it were an older bios? what about the bios thats in the 007_raincoat_0.7_2.20.04_andy_and_eXOBeX.rar ? is that one fine, its 256

if it was an old bios it would frag (reboot twice then flash red and green)

the bios in the package you menetioned should be ok, since its dated feb 2004, however i would download 4981 just to be safe
