alrite, i have evox right now and i want to restore my ms dash...i have made screenshots of what I! think that my C drive and fonts folder should look like if i want the ms dash, so heres the links, if i have anything wrong please correct me.

ok geocities is being poor and useless as usual, so here is what i have in my fonts folder right now.

bert.xtf
default.xbe
ernie.xtf
evox.ini
items.txt
XBox Book.xft
Xbox.xft

i dont know if it matters but i have 2 default.xbe files, 1 in my fonts folder one in my c drive, but they are different sizes

now ima newb and all, and my xbox is bein a pos for the ftp part of the 007 exploit, but wat i think u need to do is only have the mod default.xbe, im not sure, but dont try it unless u think itll work, and dont blame me if u f ur xbox

as you can see on that thread i had SEVERAL unanswered questions, for who knows what reason, so i was forced to re-post this topic. SO once again here are the links to the screen-shots of what i think my box should look like inside once the ms dash should come up.

if all you really want to do is get back to your MS dash then just rename the xft files back to their normal names and you will get back onto ms dash on boot. Also xboxrom.bin shouldn't be there that's a file that's usually associated with Phoenix Bios Loader. And items.txt in your fonts folder is also not part of retail root folder.

Rename the xft files like galladel said. The files you can delete are:

C:
- boot.cfg
- default.xbe
- introflag.lock
- items.txt
- xboxrom.bin

C:\FONT
- default.xbe
- items.txt
