very nice neverwill. i like it alot.


light shine video... there are a couple problems that will make this almost impossible. Or it just wont look right.

1. the round icons will mean you need to use an overlay to cover the corners. this would be on top of the video and stand out like a sore thumb . You could try to do an alpha fade on the overlays to still allow them and still get the video in.. but it would be tough.

2. the middle icons are so close to the text that part of the text will have to be of the overlay

Try particleillusion for particle effects, and adobe after effects for text glows and stuff.

I will be changing the menu text as it stretches too much, might change the soundtrack text too for the same reason (but I really like how the soundtrack part looks).

I would recommend showing more items in the menu, by removing the spaces between the items (showdescr?)

just a suggestion, seein the vids and icons are on both sides, i think itd look awesome if it was mirror, like on one side it was normal, then on the other it was reversed.

just to make it symetricall/cool

Haven't really done anything to this skin in a few days, I will resume work on it this week probably but I have to study and stuff , University finals are this week.

On a personal note- Got a dvd burner today!!! Not that anyone would care, but it made me happy.

Really looking good. Can't wait to see some more stuff!

It's almost complete, the skin doesnt have any animations though, mostly because I suck.

I have made a color pack as well- Black, Green , Blue, Red and Original, to offer up some variety.

All I have to do now is just fiddle with the system specs text.

Also, for some reason, I cant get the spaces beteween menu items to go away, ive tried copying sections from other skins and still no luck, I must have a syntax error somewhere or something. I changed the menu font so it is smaller and it looks way better, its a different font as well I believe. Ive finished the loading screen and now Im just going to make some sort of a screen saver.

Ill post some screens when it's done of the different colors.

As to the spacing issue. Are you using the MXM style menu? Cause it keeps the space where the descriptions would normally go even if they're not there (ie turned off).

The skins are done, but i might hold off for a while. I will be getting particle illusion sometime in the near future and I want to add some effects, but I suppose I could release this pack as v1.0 and then tinker with it later and release a v1.1 or something.
