Full Version: Eject Problem After Tsop Flash

So I flash with EvoxM7_ef.bin (which has worked for every other Xbox I have modded, it reboots fine, I get evox installed. However when I eject the tray it resets. If I power on with the tray open it will give closing or opening as the status of the drive. It also will not detect DVD or CD in the tray if I close it while on evox, yet it will read it fine if it is in before boot. I have tried other Xboxs and other BIOSs X2, on top of the BIOSs I've also tried other known good hard drives.

Does anyone have an idea on how to correct this annoying behavior? It isn't crippling just very very annoying.

I have had this problem on different XBOX's when I use an origianl/retail HD......I even used Xbox Tool to make the EF was ok and flashed with many different bios's...

What I did find, Once I upgraded the HD to a bigger HD...Like a 40 or bigger, it worked fine with the same bios that was flashed already...Dunno why

Interesting, we went straight to a 40gig on the install. All I did to his retail hard drive was unlock it so he could use it for whatever he wanted afterwards.

Any other ideas? Also have tried disable DVD drive check in the bios as well.

It will reboot anytime you press eject, even when the flubber animation is going on which even my non-modded Xbox doesn't do.
