This was my second tsop flash.
I have a 1.4 date 11/10/03 with winbond w49f020T bios and focus chip. I connected the top two points
I used AUF with raincoat 0.7 and I changed the bios.bin to a x2 4977 256k bios.
The flash went fine with no errors.
Now I am fragging with no video. I have now noticed that 4977 does not have focus video support.
Is the focue problem causing the fragging or did I just end up with a bad flash?
Any ideas to fix other than the 29 wire fix.
It appears controversial if a modchip can be turned off and then flash the tsop.

nope, only a 29-wire mod can fix the TSOP

you can however install a modchip and it will run, you just cant disable it
