It must be a such a good dash that all features are there . Just got to get that sound right and slow down the menue speed a little bit.

i gotta say great dash btw, way better than the original nexgen (well the 0.95 vers)

the 2 things which i think it should have (apart from what bucko said) is you know it has xenium os support. it would be great if it had smart-XX os support,

the only other thing i can think of is Smart-XX and Xenium lcd support.

other than that a brilliant dash.

ps i like the mini games features i love playing on pong!!!

the main thing i would like to see is the ease of adding new menu items much like the original nexgen was
i loved being able to add menues and configing them through the xml file in up to the .95 release and hope that this is brought back
i like many other's am not too familiar with the lua structure, nor do i like having to mod 3 or more files just to get a new menu item (which by the way i still am not able to get working)

Ability and availability of alternative 3d models (ie those ripped from the MS dash)

ahhhh, no it wouldnt.

neXgen used to look almost exactly like the M$ dash. Then some sources where lost and finally the original developer gave up and opened the sources. The team has put alot of great work into the dash but I think the majority of people think it looks like crap. Im sorry to say it and I wouldnt say it but every time I ask for the M$ 3d models u just say u dont want to be tHc. Well neXgen was the original M$ impersinator, so tHc is nexgen and they are both M$. Im just asking for an option for ppl that like the M$ 3d models better

you missed what i meant, if nexgen were to take things directly from the ms dash then it would become something of a thc dash. nexgen is opensource and they have always created things for their dash themselves, not took them from the ms dash

Well Lets say this Team xos will not release any of the M$dash xbg models 2 publick the models we currently using in our dash where created in 3dmax. IF some 1 else would like 2 release the M$ dash models then please feel free to do it. The sources are almost complete & will be released soon. Yes we are trying 2 get the look & feel of the M$ dash & so is thc but is u have probably noticed thc is visualy better but feature/powerwise nexgen blows it out of the water.. Im sorry but i dont know what 2 say. If some 1 can prove me wrong & desighn a skin for nexgen that looks 10 better then what we have got it 2 look like now we might consider releasing or desighning some sort of models. I have an idea But wont be possible untill i contact UNLEASHX. SO yeah thast about all for now guys.

What I would like on the next release of this cool dash:

-Be original in the Apps, emulators, and games submenus, make them look different from each other(not the same way as M$ dash's Gamesave Manager), with a more 3-d appearance and a bit more opaque.

-I dont like to have so many buttons in the main menu, leave about 4 or 5 and make a different submenu so that you can have the rest of the things too.

-Fix the sound and scroll speed

-an easier way of skinning please.

1. Be able to disable any tabs you want.

2. Make it easier to skin.

3. Creat any tabs you want.

4. Disable Xenium Support if you don't have an Xenuim.

5. Less Tabs.

6. Make the built in FTP app better, with less refreshing, after you enter a new dir.
Also fix the freezing problem, when you try to transfer when you are not connected to another xbox.

7. Fix random bugs, and make it more stable.

Hell, I would use this as my default dash if these problems were fixed. It would be cool if you could make the orb 3D with maybe a spining X for neXgen or so it would display the song you are playing.

I'm new to neXgen, so I don't know all its features, but once the new version is released, I think I'm going to have new default!

A nice looking (and generic - one that will appeal to most peoples taste) default skin. and stability - especially in ftp.

I guess not a lot of people use this Dashboard. I think it rules!

trust me they will be using it real soon i assure u this much.

I use the dashboard somtimes, my second bios boots it under my xenium, i can't wait for the new features to!

Hopefully it will be have been under developement for so long now (not complaining) well keep up the good work.
