I need the update patch for pandora tomorrow so I can play with my friend. He obviously got the update through XBOX live however we play through XBC. Anyway, I need the update or someway to make the game think it's another version. I would appreciate any options!

Try taking the the:

E\TDATA\55530019

folder from the patched xbox and putting the "$u" folder from inside that, into the exact same folder on the unpatched xbox, that should do it

I have a similar problem ( i think ) but your suggestion didn't work for me.

I have 2 xboxes in 2 rooms and have tried to system link the original copy with a backup i made.
When in system link i can see the game session i have set up on one xbox but when i try to join i get

"your game version is not the same as the servers".
I don`t want to go on live with one box to get the update.

Sorry if the answer to this is somewhere else but the search option is down and i`ve checked the past dozenish pages.

If that doesn't work for you, just rename the TDATA folder "55530019" to something like "55530019-TEMP" on the xbox which has already got the patch.

That will disable it and let you play with the same versions however if you want to play Live again remember to switch it back.
