Using this case here:
http://www.nzxt.com300w Power supply

AV and ethernet ports with electrical tape covering up unused holes

Two 80mm rear fans

I used a piece of acrylic to make an adapter for the motherboard.

Power/eject wired up to main power button and Apache

Window with lighted fan

Front of drives

LEDs in front of case

Removable HDD

Front intake fan

Stuff left to do:
Assemble and install CPU cooling unit.
Fix TSOP.
Manage wires with zipties.
So what do you guys think?

Wow I so gotta do this been thinking of doing a PC Case conversion for some time but some of the pics I've seen don't seem to be that good. Can I have a closeup pic of that apache? I also think you should tidy up the cables for better air flow, and by the way what is that black stuff behind the window. Could you also take a pic of the whole case want to see what it's all like. Very cool havent seen a project like this in a while.

I'll try to get a closeup of the Apache a little bit later when I start working on the case again. Yeah I'll be working on ziptieing(sp?) all the cables down later on tonight. And the black stuff on the window is part of the case, check out this link:
http://www.nzxt.com. You can also see an overall pic of the case there.

It's truly an awesome case, everything is extremely simple mostly because all the drive bays are slide-n-lock meaning you don't need any screws or anything and there's tons of other things... Search the case on google and you'll get tons of good reviews or you can go check out the forums on their website and you'll also find some good info there.
On another note, I've came up with a way to fit all 4 controller ports in one 3.5" drive bay and I've already test one out and it fits perfectly... But's its a lot of work, so I'd say expect some pictures in about 2-3 hours from now.

in order to do it in the bay you would have to keep the face open all the time, i would put 1 pair on either side of the bottom of the case, and try to get some rubber tubing or something to make the cut look nicer if it looks like ass. awsome case.

Here's are some pics of the controller ports done... With the flash on it kinda does look like ass, but with normal light it looks perfectly fine...

BTW, how much did you get it for? The lowest I've seen is at SVC for $85 w/ 420w PSU.

I was gonna order mine from newegg.com for $94 with power supply but it was taking them forever to get them back in stock so I just ran down to my local Fry's Electronics and bought the case for $79.99 and a 300w PSU separately for $25 because they don't sell black cases bundled with PSUs...

After you have done it all, do you think you could write a tutorial. The one on xbox scene is a bit old now.

Here's the tutorial I'm working on:
http://members.cox.net/live4ever/xbox/tutorial.htmlI wouldn't say it's completely done because I'm sure theres so things I left out or neglected to explain in detail, so let me know.
