This awesome skin was originally done by puddwakkr for unleashx, he gave me his permission to bring it over to mxm.

The unleash x skin is static, what I did is animated all the lights (so they look like they are glowing), animated the three "buttons" by the preview vid so that they glow at different brightnesses from each other and at different times and I animated the three hexagons in the center (they pull away from each other to the edges of the "console" then come back in and flash blue at different intervals and then it loops).

I'm not quite finished, but heres a screen for people to see-




-Im going to be changing the color of the soundtrack text and probably moving the menu so it doesnt run behind the icon pick but rather starts at the top of it, might make it look better.

Looks good, nothing better then another nice skin for MXM. Good job!

Background is sweet, but I don't think the font goes too well with it. Try something smaller.

^^Yeah, that was more or less a test font, Ill be picking out something more readable and not so squished. Might see how the orignal fonts that were in the unleashx version look.

^^The screen shot shows both the vid and thumb previews. Vid is in the top left hand corner and the icon is in the bottom left , below the menu.

This exact design was actually on a website and/or a website interface over at DeviantArt.com, so I hope the original skin maker gave credit or had permission.
Same goes for this one I guess.

^^Had no idea, only saw the unleashx skin, but if you have the information quickly on hand post it here and I will include it in the xml and give credit for it when it is released.


A skin question for those in the know: Is there a text scrolling function? I want to make the sountrack text scroll and I dont really know how to do this, it sounds like it should be simple but I have no idea if it is implemented in the current version of mxm.

Skin is coming along nicely. I finished off the intro and loading videos thismorning, changed some fonts, changed the menu a little.

Just have to fix some stuff and maybe add a screen saver. I'll probably end up releasing it before or on friday because I'm moving and my internet wont be hooked up for a least a week.
