Since UnleashX can view WMV,XMV, what about .BIK files? These video files are all over some games. Since they already have a converter (.AVI to .BIK) BINK for it at their official site. Could there be a possibility in the future for it? It would be nice for making skins also.

Lots of people use the vidoes on games backed up to the hdd as previews to save space. If the vids are in xmv/wmv unleash can use as preview. But if they are in .bik unleash can't use them. I would like to use the bink videos off my games as previews.

also whats the problem with putting a .bik player? Its not gonna steal anything off the people who made bink. And does it matter putting it on a dash that is already illegal because of using xdk?

Rad Game Tools makes the BINK format. Its a closed format and you have to pay to licence it to get the SDK for it.

I don't know of any Open Source player for that format.

Get RADVideo. Its free and will convert your biks to whatever.
