Having problems with installing a x2.3b lite on a v1.0 xbox, I removed the chip and discovered that the xbox will not boot.

I have not damaged any traces near d0 or the lpc points, I have checked them with a multimeter. I also do not see any solder splash anywhere on the board.

When I turn on the xbox, the light stays solid green, but I get no audio, no video. I can hear the xbox dvd-rom and HD working fine. The AV cable IS plugged in (before someone suggests that).

If I push the eject button, the light blinks green and I can hear the dvd-rom working, however the tray never ejects, and the light never stops blinking.

I have no idea what is wrong here. Any suggestions?

That sounds like what happened to my friend's box when it went into flash mode. I think that's what it was, anyway.

I removed the modchip though. If it was in flash mode (Cromwell bios), then it would flash green/orange and the tray would eject. Also since my v1.0 xbox has a conexant video encoder, I would be able to see the image on the screen.

Any other ideas?
