the reason the bubble light appeals to me is, it comes with 2

the cathode stick has a dual inverter, but a nother stick will cost extra

umm Bigfoot sells cold cathodes in pairs. it is a Canadian site though and if you arent from Canada it probably isint worth it well I dont know might b cheaper after the exchange.

Bubblelights would b kind of pointless to me cuz you wont see the bubbles if you plan on putting them in the sides by the vents.

sometimes bigfoot is expensive though so u gotta b careful like some of their prices are rediculus like double the price of other places and sometimes you can get a good deal.

It really depends on what you want. I have two bubble lights in my xbox.

Bubble lights:

They blink in different sequences.
They do not have a steady burn.
They put off WAY less heat because they are made from LEDs.
Bigger.
Dimmer.

Cathode Sticks:

Burn steady.
Do not alternate blinking sequences at all.
Puts off heat.
Smaller.
Brighter.


Heat was the main thing for me. I was putting mine right beside the power supply in my xbox. So I chose a bubble light.

EDIT: I bought my 6.6 inch Bubble lights off Ebay for about $4. Shipping bumped it up to about $12 though.
