Ok I got really bored today (and we all know boredom is not a burden anyone should bare) so I decided to make my XB-Live Communicator a one ear attachment. This came in handy because I have a really mis-shaped head and the band that goes around the back of the head squeezes on me. tongue.gif

Anyways here is a couple pics, It's not really a mod as much as it is a 5-10 minute time killer, but I like the look it gives it none-the-less.

Crappy pic but it shows the basic design

Better Pic and close-up. The electrical tape is just there to hide the ugliness of the super glue attachment and the hot glue reinforcement.

It's not a great design and doesn't hold really well to the ear but it works and it kept me entertained for a bit and it looks kinda cool. laugh.gif

seems to be heavy to put on one ear ,dont know ,but still very cool mod tongue.gif

that is sweet man if i still had my original communicator i would do that.

Thanks for the thumbs ups guys... yeah it is pretty hefty and is probably why it doesn't fit well but if you can get it to grab to your ear well enough it works out rather nicely
Corspegrinder99
try painting it laugh.gif

It looks very good, but I guess the comfort is the most important part and that's hard to tell from a picture, lol.
IITangoCrazy
that sucks that it doesnt fit right . . . . probably wouldnt do it then.

Yeah its a hell of alot more comfortable than before and it fits right, its just the earphone is so heavy if you lean alot to the opposite side it will lean a little, not a big compromise but if your a detail freak like I am it could agitate you a little. wink.gif

Update:

Don't do this mod unless you have a better way of doing it, mine just fell apart. piece of junk, oh well I just went out and bought this cool hands free headset and ti works better anyway
