Hi I have a modded xbox with evox, when I boot up i get an error message that says "your xbox needs service, please contact xbox customer service." and shows number 16 up at the top left corner of the screen, any way to get rid of this as it happens intermittently, Also please note that my cd drive doenst open up all the time and I get this flashing green/red light and have to reset it many times or leave it powererd off for a while to get back into. Any ideas?

16 is the clock loop error, is you xbox modded with a chip or softmods?

if chip/TSOP: flash with a newer bios that skips the clock check (and make sure your MS dashbaord is working)

if softmods: not much i can tell you there, make sure you dont leave the xbox unplugged for long periods, consider upgrading to a chip or flashing the TSOP

Slushi99's xbox is modded with an Xcecuter Chip - soldered install.

His xbox was working just fine until a few days ago...

Why would the bios need to be re-flashed? since it was working fine before. ?
