I hope this is ok for the the forum; if it is not, my apologies to the admin's.

I've been banned from xBins , but I was not greedy! I tried to dl some stuff and it kept trying to dl the whole directory, so I tried to canc the dl...but I guess it thought I still dl'd the stuff. So now I am left with nothing, and I can't get back on to get what I need. Can anyone help?

Isn't a ban only in effect for 24 hours? I think you can survive.

You can't get to the #xbins channel, or you can't get in to the FTP?

If you can get into the channel, ask the mods for help, make an appeal.

As nfs924 said, just make up a new nick on irc. I don't think they ban by IP.

wait a day or 2. then go to mirc and get the info and log in again. It will be fine. they will ban you for a short period of time. its not forever.
