I only like to buy movies that i really enjoy or that have some sort of special edititon on it. I just bourght the NEW Edition of Good Bad And Ulgy, and new edititon of ENTER THE DRAGON = some nice good features, and bonus stuff.

It is a great show. Right now Best buy has a deal buy 2 of the 3 seasons $10 gets taken off. buy all three seasons $25 gets taken off.

Predator 2 is alright, Seven and Usual Suspects are both good movies also I think Seven is being aired ttonight on that channel that shows ANGEL all the time not FX I think it's TNN

i dont have many dvd's but i sure have ALOT of SVCD's/XviD's as these (mainly talking about XviD's) are close to dvd's image quality at a fraction of the file size... like 1.4GB (2 cd rip) vs dvd's 4-7GB or so per movie... and pretty damn close to same quality as the dvd for your average 2hour movie or so.

so for me XviD is pretty much the way to go.

Except for the fact that your not actually paying for these movies,

When you buy the Dvd is comes with some nice features: Case, Dvd(s), book.
So size doesn't make a difference if own the dvd, since they do all the work for you and place it on a dvd.

store bought... 473 movies (trilogies and series each counted as 1) ,

backups (in case 'they' burn down, i got em covered)... 3 cases that each hold 220 discs, two completely full and one with about 30 empty spots to go

xvid/avi ... all on xbox hdd's. tv box has 170gb full of mst3k and various tv shows i enjoy.. movie box has about 140gb (figure each movie is around a gb) of avi/xvid movies aquired from many various places.. car box has about 50 of my favorite movies as well as my favorite tv shows

i figure if i only watched movies that i have (no outside source like cable or sat) i could watch movies till the day i died without having repeated one of them..

I have over 500 Dvds and about 60 Blu-rays, most of them I buy the others are presented by friends who know about my obsession Recently I came to the idea of organizing them in one database and am searching a tool for that. I've checked some freeware stuff and liked this movie collector
