Are you guys able to slow-down and speed-up the clock, inorder to hit the time exactly?
Also, I'm checking it against my watch and it seems to be running a tad slow.

I am glad that they gave some notice. I just took that weekend off from work so I can play for 52 hours straight.. I am so excited!!!

I'm not sure. If the countdown on the site is right, it will be released at midnight my time EST-5. That’s when the games start going for us late nighters. But if they get it faster because they are +10, can I change the time on my computer to that and get it when they do ?

dfunked do you mean 10pm? I live in New Zealand where we are 2 hours ahead of you Australians and I worked out I will get it at midnight. That means 10pm for you guys because we are +12GMT and you guys are +10GMT.
Or does the clock adjust depending on where we live so that it releases midnight everywhere? Because If that is true then New Zealanders would get it first because we are +12GMT.

Trust me when I say, you will not have a problem finding anyone to play while you are on in the UK. I am in the US (-5) and I will be on most if not all night when it is released, to be right back on there the next morning after I feed and duck tape the kids.

I can't get Xlink to boot up, I get the port forwarding error... But I can get kai beta to boot, does this mean evo 7 will work for me?
Yep, you should have no probs. I got the port forwarding error on RC2 even after forwarding the ports, but I never had to do any setup for Kai. You should be good to go
