Hello.

I've just installed a X2 Lite into my V1.0 Xbox. I haven't installed any switches. When I boot up the Xbox it has the Xbox Logo with Xecuter2 underneath. I assume this means that it's working. However, when I place a CD-R with Evox on it to install it, the Xbox refuses to boot it and says "this is not an Xbox disc or DVD". Is my chip faulty, or is it the Evox I have.

P.S. I have several versions of Evox from 1.8.458 to 1.8.2812. I have also tried unbranded CD-R and Verbatims.

Please help me

I¡¦m no expert but I believe only the Samsung DVD drives will read CDR`s all the rest will read CD-RWs and DVDR have you tried a CDRW yet ??

If you are getting the Xbox logo with Xecuter2 underneath all is working ƒº

I've just tried it with a Datasafe DVD-R and it works perfectly. Thank you very much
