So I'm I've been using tHC_Dashboard_v1W.10027100 for a few months now and I've been trying to replce it with the lite ver. and I can't seem to get it to work.
Here's what I'm doing: I erase the old tHC_Dashboard_v1W.10027100 folder, the old evoxdash.xbe, and the reboot shutdown .xbes. I ftp over the new tHcData folder, config memoryx.xbes, I rename the thclite.xbe to evoxdash.xbe, because that is what my bios reads, and ftp it over. Reboot. It loads the xbox logo, and then contionusly reboots itself. I don't even get a glimpse of the new dash, not does my music autoloads. What gives? Any help would be great.

If you have a boot disk use it and ftp into your box. Check to make sure you have the *Original xbox files on you *root of c: thc lite uses some of those files to run.

All I have for a bootdisk is slayer's tHC autoinstaller (12-2003), would that have the orignal files? When you say original you do mean the tHc orignal, right? Should I just find an orignal (does it matter what color) tHC from a IRC channel. ftp it over, and then ftp the Lite files over?

When I say original I men the original files that came on your xbox when you bought it. The original M$ dashboard: Audio,Fonts,xboxdashdata.10027100,xodash and the few other config files. And I'm not sure if the slayers boot disk will work. If you put it in and it gives you ftp access than your good, cause that what you need it for. Then you can ftp the thc lite file on your c: drive.

Make sure u have the config.xbx,thc folder,thc.xbe,Audio folder,Fonts folder on the root of c:

Are you using a font exploit? i ask this a fair bit but it sounds like you might be, if you are you will have to hex edit thclite.xbe.

So that's my problem all along. I've been using the original files from my tHc, not from my original M$ dash. Well, I'm off to try out lite, thanks guys!

Everything worked out great, got 5 orbs up, font exploits, and full custom dash now. Thanks again, everyone.
