how can i get the xbmc to fit to the exact size of my tv screen , i have a 32" wide screen tv , ( pal ) , but the image is too large for the screen , also i have a 100hz tv is there anyway i can set the xbmc to run at this ...

Start button should do the trick, it can zoom, stretch and be normal... If one of those don't work, go to Settings > User Interface > UI Calibration and change the co-ordinates to your liking. If that doesn't work try Settings > My Videos > Screen Calibration and fiddle around w/ that stuff. I'm not an expert w/ XBMC but one of those 3 things should work for you.
