This maybe a bit newbie-ish but I had a question about dvd movie backups. I made some backups from some of my movie dvd's with dvdshrink burned them with nero 6 to TDK dvd+rw's and some Maxell dvd+rw's and they do not work... Evox reports them as unknown. The odd thing is that they work in my friends xbox and all of my backed up games I have on TDK's and they all work. I've even tried to burn with nero with DVD UDF/ISO mode with XBox video on and still no go. Anyone, have any ideas? I'm at a loss...

They just aren't compatible with your Xbox DVD drive. Your friend probably has a different DVD drive in his Xbox. You'll have to try using a brand/type that is compatible.

It's odd though that games on TDK's work and movies don't. I'll have to crack the xbox open again when I get home add see which model drive it is...

That is odd.
You don't have to open your XBOX to determine the model of the DVD drive though, just look at the tray. There's a pinned topic about it somewhere around here.
