When you ftp in to XBMC in recovery mode you will see a Q: or if you open the xbmc.log you will first see stuff like "Q is mapped to:Harddisk0\Partition6\Apps\XBMC" and later on "load skin from:Q:\skin\Project Mayhem" and "load language file:Q:\language\Swedish\strings.xml" etc etc etc etc etc

Q: is the directory you installed XBMC to.
Be it E:\appz\mediaplayers\xbmc or to F:\XBMC

Doubleclicking on the Q: when in recovery mode will take you to the XBMC directory.
