I installed my 2.3b lite+, no problem. Next comes the linux-cromwell screen asking for a cd -flashing mode:

I read and read, I get the bios I want and burn it.

I stick my cdrw in and it says halting.

I know the media is good cause I reflashed the linux cromwell bios just fine.

I have been reading and reading and I have missed something somewhere

Try using a cdr to flash...I heard that sometimes they may work better.

are you actually creating a fatx iso with a program like qwix then selecting burn image in your burning program rather than just putting the iso in the que and burning as data disk?

Thanks, I finally got it. It just took a while and the right process.

Now I am trying to figure out Mameox. I got the binary but uploading evrything is a hassle.
