Hmm that looks very kick ass but what are the bi color leds hooked up to? ANy HDD activity or LAN activity ot DVD Drive or just set up to flash

the dvd activity is hooked up to controller port 1, lan link activity controller port 2, hdd activity controller port 3, and each light in the port is hooked up to that port also and the bicolor LEDs are hooked up to port 4, they blink 3 different colors they can be purchased from www.lsdiodes.com and the 14 LEDs on top are all hokoed up to a molex y splitter

dvd led blinks everytime a disk is reading / loading something or any disk or drive activity

hdd led blinks erverytime something is accessing or loading or doing something from the hdd

lan link blinks everytime network stuff is being streamed or something being send to / from xbox

not a fan of the flashing but it is cool man. I think the flashing multi colours kinda makes it look tacky I also hate direct lighting. but thats just me

but...does anyone have any ideas where i can fit more LEDs into?

my other xbox has got led's around the sides, at the bottom and underneath the controller ports and under the power/eject buttons, all facing down, looks oookkkaayyy, nothing brilliant though. what about having them ontop in a star formation and flashing outwards in?

what it you out lined the x in bi colors and had one color permantly on like i do whith a switch and have them for your hdd lights and stuff that would be bad ass

i would, but bicolor leds are expensive, and are pretty big (5MM)

i got a stupid question, i got the 14 LEDs hooked up so 1 wire touches all + and 1 wire all - , if i add more leds can i just hook say 4 more leds up then hook a wire from + to the + and - to the -? im sure that would work?

yea you might have to change the resistor though unless you are going to use another

hey box_69.....i added 2 more LEDs so now i have 16 in total....and i noticed the higher the resistor the less dull the lights are im using a 22 ohm now and theres like 5 that are as bright as they can be, and the rest are bright, just not as bright. any idea what kind of resistor i can try? i got every kind of resistor, thanks!

shit drop to like a 8 or 10ohm
