Ive only just found the post about making the new view in project gotham 2 and while i was there i decided tyo open a few of the car files.

I had fun, my skyline now peaks @ 1200rpm, and probably about a 40psi boost
and wheels spins every single gear. I also found something else interesting, anti-roll 10000.000, so i changed it to 00.000. YES!!!! i rolled the car about half way around the nurburgring, it was awsome, but im glad it ened up back on its wheels
as i cant see a way of getting it back over.

But please, to everyone, this could be so much fun if everyone posts thier .ini files
for other people to try out. experimenting with turbo boosts, suspension, wheels size. ride hight, gear ratios is sooooo much fun. biggrin.gif biggrin.gif biggrin.gif

I just copied the whole Speed 12's ini and gave it to the skyline then changed some things so my skyline is better than my Speed 12.

If I made the skyline a lot less in weight than the speed 12 with all of its stats would it go over 240? that was my max speed in the speed 12.

Yea and i still maxed 210 in the skyline on the test track. I did it just now let me go and look at the wheels and stuff again brb.

Im not sure, it would probably wheel spin ALOT, so make sure you enable traction control in the .ini, i really think i have done something cool here. i dont think ill ever get bored of turning cars.

Nah it looks fine nothing changed execpt its stats try it and test drive. The wheels might be a little smaller but i don't think so. I got it to 100 in 3rd gear. in about 5 sec. Try changing the anti spin and see if that works to fix it if you spin a lot i didn't but try it and tell me what happens.

yea I tried yours. Works great so I got the idea of trying my speed 12 stock stats and it worked. Thanks for turning me on to changing PGR2 never really thought about it till now. Yea I'll test its top speed latr. Try changing the stats to the speed 12 but back up yours and tell me what you think.

How would you jack something up? I just got 235 on the skyline in 6th gear. I'm gonna change it so it has 7 in a min. Tell me what happens with your skyline/CLK mercedes. Do you have MSN or Yahoo messenger we could talk bout hacking the cars there.

i just put the clk into the skyline. then added a supercharger. then weight reduction, then another 2 gears. for some reason you have to skip 7th gear and go straight to 8th, but i down the nurburring, i can pull 410

I got the skyline to do a wheelie then i got it up on the front wheels
I read this last night a thought it would be a laugh to mod the cars and i think i`ve worked it out
and i got the skyline round Nurburgring in well under 6 minites i havent had so much fun in ages!!!

Anyways, learn it the hard way like the rest of us, sit down with notepad and edit the car bit by bit and learn what does what..

Custom made colors will not be same.

torque = raw power....

Thats stored in the pak files, once u peek into those i think u to are gonna forget about that.

But again even if u could it would only show that way on your xbox.

If u are doubting about even the colors since ppl here are telleing u that it work, add any color to your car and let me know, i'll then join and make a screen shot so u can view it.

I have tried to play system link with colormod, and it does not show on the other boxes.
If you think about it, it makes sense. The game only transfers the location, accelleration, the car type, etc. Textures is not transferred, so colormod's does not show on the other players xboxes in system link.

Thinking right, expressing my self wrong, sorry about that.

It will show red but not with stripes. Anyways, this is just adding all ready existing colors, not modding. I've been looking much at this lately.

PGR2 reads the colors from the inifile, and puts it in an array. When playing system link, PGR2 does not send the color, but it sends the index in the array for that color. If you insert a line somewhere (besides the end), or if you delete a line in the carcolors.ini, the color you select is not at the same place in your array as the arrays of your opponets (execpt in the case that the modifications are identical at both boxes).

This means, that modified colors will only show on your local xbox. Using colors all ready present in carcolors.ini (i.e. using Speed12 colors on Enzo) works fine because the changes is not done in carcolors.ini (it is in Cars.ini).

Therefore, when installing downloaded content manually, it is necessary to add the changes at the bottom of the files.

I have passed the 800 kmh. i did 850 and the game stuffs up and runs like 1 fps. i dont know why, lol. i did it in my super duper s2000. 850 on nurnurgring straight.
