i have too many ads on my pc, what do i do to get rid of them

The answer is in your title. To get rid of spyware the common programs are lavasoft's adaware and Spybot Search and Destroy. Both are free on the net, and should help you out. I'd get both and run them from safemode.

and after doing that, install and update javacool spywareblaster. also free.

and for browsing, try mozilla firefox instead of say, internet explorer. you should be relatively clean from then on.

You want to get ride of <I>adware</I>, not ad-aware. In fact, you want Ad-Aware.

but be carefull alot of spyware removal programs can contain spyware

like someone pointed out above using different browser other than IE can help
IE is most widely used and hated (therefore most targeted).
try: netscape,mozilla, opera... also more secure than IE for same reason
