I finally made the switch from XBMP and, am I impressed. Looking sweet!
However, I can't figure out what the name server setting in the setup file is for. Can anyone clue me in?
thanks in advance!

its for resolving names such as weather.com and imdb.com to ip addresses.
you need to either put in the dns your isp gives you or if you have a home network generally its the ip of hte gateway machine

1: If you use a 2 nic setup the nameserver is the ip of the NIC it connectes to (often 192.168.0.1)
2: If it is conntec to a router it is the ip of the router you put in.
3: If you have it hooked straight to the net without pc or router it is the dns your isp uses.
