Here's my problem...wait, my problem is that I'm not computer savvy, nor do I have a DVD burner, hence my plea for help. Here's my situation.
I have on 3 CD-Rs, 17 videos, approximately 95MB each. NOTHING NWS. When I first got the discs, I was able to watch them on my computer. One year later, new computer, can't watch the discs. I can get audio, but no video. They are listed as "Windows Media Files" or something to that effect, but my WMP doesn't open them correctly (no video).
I'd REALLY like to watch these videos on my region-free DVD player, or on XBMP or XBMC...does anyone have the capability to help me out? Ideally, there is a simple fix to this that I can perform, but understanding my limitations, if there is any way I can send you the discs, and if you can send me readable DVDs or other discs back (I know, resolution won't be great), I'd GREATLY appreciate it, and most definetely pay you for your time and services...
Please help--if you can, please reply to this post, or e-mail me at either danonvacation@hotmail.com or so@mckenzielake.com
THANKS!

Find and download AVIcodec to check that you have the codecs that the video require. It gives a link to download them if they are unsupported currently on your PC.
That should enable you to watch them on your PC at least.
