I lent my Xbox to someone and now it wont boot up, well it dopes but it tales for ever, here is what happens:

1. Loads the Blue XBOX screen.
2. Then Slowly disapears and the evolution x screen appears but is not going at it is usual speed. I have the EVO-X screen that has the evolution x banner that rottaes and it usually goes smooth but now it jerks and takes forever to boot up.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I have the Matrix, with Evox
and a model 1.0 with 120GB hard drive.

matrix needs to be realigned.

the green light is still on the matirx chip inside the XBOX, should I still reallign it??? Thanks for ya help, hopefully iy will work.

The dongle free DVDX is working though?? cause my dads watching a movie right nwo on it??

Try reinstalling Evo-X again first
