im trying to get smb shares to work on xbmc, i followed the smb tutorial found

ive tried using this

and ive tried using this

<path>smb://XBOX:XBOX@NOTORIOUS/Movies/</path>
</bookmark>

(NOTORIOUS being the computer name)
it all doesnt work, i dont knwo what to do, i gave it all the permissions in windows, it keeps saying access denied in xbmc, someone help me!?

umm is ur computer really access name and password xbox? lol

Also, if you're using Norton Internet Security or any other firewall, make sure you make your Xbox IP one of your trusted sites.

yeah that simple and works flawless

try MFXStream it works like a charm
i was having trouble with smb sharing then trie MFXStream and it worked
good luck with whatever u decide
