I'm trying to FTP my Xbox to my PC with Internet Explorer. I keep getting this message. FTP Error: 200 type set to ascii 425 can't open data. Any suggestions.

you need to use a ftp prog. (flashfxp or cute ftp depending on the dash installed)

NO need to get hostile geez. Just make sure your ips and settings are right.
If u need example ip's here they are NIC card- 192.168.000.4 Xbox- 192.168.000.3 make sure your static ip is ON and all ur IGRs are off sometimes IE doesn't work 4 me for some weirdreason but most of the time i have my settings wrong. Make sure you have no default gateway on the nic or xbox
and both DNS' on ur xbox are set at 0.0.0.0 and your Pc's DNS' are set on auto.
