I transfered the game to my hard drive and used Qwix to convert the game file to an xiso. I then used Nero 6 and burned the image to a DVD+R using the guides on xbox-scene. THEY NEVER WORK. It has been very frustrating and a waste of several DVD+Rs. Can anyone offer their assistance? Thank you for your help in advance!

What drive do you have?? Some drives don't like DVD+R's. I went through the same thing along time ago and wasted 10 DVD+R's. So try DVD-R's and choose a good brand. That should work.

I can't remember how to tell which drive you have. I should have written it down, but I haven't had any trouble until now. I will try a DVD-R right now and let you know...

Perfect! I have a Samsung.

Samsung drives likes DVD-R's but be careful on what brand you get because my second xbox has got a samsung in it and that doesn't Princo DVD-R's. I heard that Ritek media are pretty good. And I've tried TDK's and they seem to work fine with my samsung.

Okay, the DVD-Rs work in my Samsung drive (I'm using TDKs).

A little n00b question...

Can you only play burned games on a modded x-box? The burned game I made only plays when my chip is enabled...

Yeah they won't play with the chip off. It will give that "Don't recognize disc" crap.
