i buy all drives in bulk i get the thomsons cause they are the cheapest and most of the xboxes i work on have bad cd drives. The systems are not modded so the drive doesnt matter.

If you take care of your system your drives will last. I have a thomson in an xbox that is from the release date that works fine. I repair drives for a living and I have an equal ammount of phillips and thomsons. I have about 8 samsung drives that are pretty much fucked. Ive noticed when they go out they are fucked. I have replacement eyes for all brands also. Smoking around your xbox will fuck your cd eye up.

How much Cheese? I need a dvd drive and i dont have much money cant work yet it sucks. Im looking for either a thomson that works or a phillips maybe or a samsun i dont care but one that isnt over 60 dollars hopefully
