hello, maybe someone here can help me. I want to change my Eject button LEDs on my Xbox to blue. since i already have all the controller ports and top jewel, and dongles with blue LED's the green eject button just doesn't look right. But my problem is I only have 2 prong LED's. I know the eject button LEDs are 3 prong, (2 postive"red and Green light", and 1 negative). Can I use a standard 2 prong LED's for replacements? I think all i would have to do is just wire the postive LED leg to both spots right.
I don't really care about having my xbox eject button more then one color. Thanks

yes, they will work but don't wire the LED to all 3 leads or it could cause a voltage surcharge if current is sent to the 2 positive leads (normally happens when the LED is yellow)

you could use 2 LEDS however...just look in the case modding forums for more info (there is a pinned topic on this)

i checked the tuts again, but am unable to find a tut that tell me which points are for the green light and which are for the red. In other words what 2 points out of the 3 should i solder the new LED to. Thanks

Looking straight at the board you have left and right.

The middle pin is the ground for both.

On the left side, connect the positive end to the top.

On the right, connact the positive end on the bottom.
