I made myself a DVD at school, and wanna make a copy of it. Its not protected, yet when i try and do a direct DVD-to-DVD copy in nero, it shows the source drive as empty, even though it isn't.

Anyone dealt with this before? I can copy it to the HD, but i would much rather just simply do a DVD-to-DVD copy.

does your burner read (+) and (-)? what kind of media is it?

Well, the burned DVD is a memorex 4x DVD+R, and the blank is a memorex DVD-R.
Burner reads both no problem, same with my dvdrom.

I'm putting in the burned one into my dvdrom, which reads it without any problems. And the burner recognizes the blank dvdr in the drive. The problem is when I go into Nero, it shows the source (the dvdrom with the burned dvd) as being empty (contrary to what windows says). blink.gif
